So, seriously, I may be getting BlueCruise today. I gave up waiting on OTA and the car is at the dealership today for the update. We'll see. Not sure how much time they'll need to get from 2.4.2 up to 2.5.3 (or whatever it's being called now).

I’m going to drive to Oahu with mine! I’ll load up a bunch of goodies in the Frunk as we go along. Easy access with the remote release!

Is your VIN scheduled for all the updates? I thought dealers wouldn’t update if your VIN wasn’t listed as eligible in FDRS?

Yes, I received said email and got an updated to 2.4.2 about ten days ago. Not a thing since. This is like watching water boil. I've been driving (and loving) this car for 13 1/2 months now with 13K miles and have been very patient. 3rd quarter, 4th quarter (last year), now first quarter ending with us sitting here in anticipation. Sad.

I expect the dealer will give me my BC since I've been in service since yesterday. I mean they might as well, right? At least get me past 2.3? Oh yea, and the frunk button too.

Nevermind - I just saw that Oahu is the name of the island with the USS Arizona memorial (and Waikiki beach)

3 islands away. Shallowest water is around 3,000 feet deep. The channel between Hawaii and Maui is just under 7,000 feet deep. I’m sure the bridges will be built today too.

About 200 miles straight line.

Nah, I’ve just been doing some squeaking to my Ford cranky early adopter handler, and…

Now, to be fair, the ‘ship could be on the cusp of bricking my car trying to push this update via OBDII. Guess we’ll find out.
