Dave, this is from the Ford Service manual for a 2021 Mach-E but I believe they have not changed these specs for '22, '23.

That said, here are my settings. I prefer my camber to be around -1.5 front, -2.0 rear on my cars as I tend to drive my mountain roads hard. I have the tire shop set it to these specs to get a little better handling and it keeps my tires from having wear issues.

Hi Mark, I wonder if this also applies to 2022 select RWD too. Mine is 23 months old with 9400 miles. Recently it wanders sideways on highway. I guess It's time for an alignment.

I just checked the repair manual for a '23 and it is the same as the '21 so don't think the '22 would be any different.

Thank you Mark. I don't expect it to change from year to year but not sure if it's different from AWD to RWD.

Appreciate it very much Mark. It’s a great help. I at least can measure camber myself first.

You can also measure toe pretty well. Since caster isn’t generally adjustable in a McPherson car, you’re stuck with what you have, so measuring it is kind of pointless. 🤪🐩

I purchased a '22 GTPE with 6900 miles, the Pirellis looked almost done. The car was one owner, on the road for 11 months (Feb 23 to Jan 24) The Ford Dealer said, they had done an alignment (BS)
I was alarmed at the wear, looked pretty even, and posted here. The handling was incredible, but with heavy rain, the car was a handful.
At 8800 miles, got a puncture, Discount Tire told me that the tires were so bad, they wouldn't plug them. I purchased a set of Continental CCS. Took the car for 4 wheel alignment, the numbers were WAY off! Discount Tires told me the tires were rotated to even out the wear. And it wouldn't show. Some sick chit! to do all this to hide the problem, rather than do a $100 alignment. The alignment must have been way off from the factory, and no follow up!

Love the Contis,
and Ford, I have had track cars, this ain't no track car!!! Like putting lipstick on a pig! Why not give us decent commuter tires? with good traction and wear.

Bummer that the alignment was off. To be fair, several GT-PE owners on the forum have gotten significantly less than 10 K miles out of the OEM Pirelli summer tires. @scoopman got just over 4K on his and I believe his alignment was fine. I babied mine and only got 16K out of the tires. I’m now on 275/40R20 Continental DWS 06+ tires (purchased from @Discount Tire ’s affiliate here on the West Coast) on 20x9.5” wheels. I expect to get 25-30K miles on those. 😊🐩

How to measure toe without the machine. The only thing I have done was measuring the how far apart of two opposing wheels, the toe is the difference between the front of the tire and the back. Any other ways?

The way it's done at the race track is with a long 2x4 (or other long, straight item), a pair of oil cans (or other blocks about 6"-8" tall), and a tape measure. Mark the 2x4 with double the diameter of the tire. With the steering set straight ahead, set the 2x4 on top of the blocks so that it contacts the tire above the sidewall bulge. Measure and note the distance to the car's rocker panel at each of the two marks. Repeat for the other side. Simple math to figure out the toe on each side. As my suspension mentor once said: "The care you take in measuring is worth more than the cost of your equipment." 😊🐩
