  1. Goodbye Mach E - Thanks all for the forum

I paid roughly the same for my old 3 liter Diesel some years ago. EVs over here are free of any Tax for 10 years after registration.
  2. Mustang Tesla?

The Stuff Rich Rebuilds does is pretty awesome in most cases. The Tesla seats in the classic Mustang are a bit brutal to my eyes.
  3. Thinking about going 100% EV - quick question

Got rid of our last Diesel 6 month ago. We share a 11 kW Charger. No issues so far. 2nd car just needs a charge once a week. My MAch-E is charge twice per week, but only 20 to 25 kWh per Charge. So there would be enough time per day if we would need to charge both cars.
  4. Recall #25S65 - 12V battery discharge may cause door lock-out (Vehicle Entrapment Allegations). Stop Sales issued by Ford

Picked the car up at 6 PM. Thank goodness I'm out of the loaner. Manual mild hybrid Ford Focus. I never liked their mild hybrid implementation.
  5. Recall #25S65 - 12V battery discharge may cause door lock-out (Vehicle Entrapment Allegations). Stop Sales issued by Ford

Brught mine in this morning to get this done and winter tires mounted. Still not ready for pickup at 5 PM. Might be a bit more complicated to install....
  6. Panoramic Roof Regret?

I wish I just would have waited for the Cyberster instead for an even more airy feel. But I do not regret the panoramic roof. Not that I can see anything through it, but it gives an overall spacy feel to the Interieur.
  7. Who has the oldest functioning original 12V battery??

Build in May 2021 - Still on the original 12V battery.
  8. Wow - a pretty negative review of the Mach E

So they are basically whining about in EVs in general. They even say there is not much wrong with the Mach-E, just that it isn't better than an ICE car. That is a mindset issue. Everything will go EV unless it stays ICE, which internationally does not seem to be the plan. Aren't the batteries...
  9. Why did Ford choose 11kW charging for Level 2?

Single phase charger. Wow - That would suck even more in Germany as we limit single phase loads to 20A. So it would not even get the 7 kW - IT would be 4.6 kW instead. For most people I guess that is fast enough, but 11 kW of the Mach-E is over twice as fast.
  10. 1st time charging at Tesla Supercharger

I guess it is easier over here in Europe as we all have CCS (including Tesla). I charge my car from time to time at Tesla as they have a gigantic charging location at a shopping mall. Not because I need to charge, but because there is always a (or twelve) spot free there and I'm too lazy to look...
  11. Lights come on when walking up

This has nothing to do with the Pony projection? Was wondering about this behavior to. It activates light even when I walk next to it through bushes in my garden. As long as it doesn't unlock without phone or FOB I actually don't care.
  12. 2024 vs. 2021 Headrest

I actually ordered floor mats in 2021 expecting them not to come with the car :-) The dealer noticed that and canceled them from the invoice thankfully.
  13. Way too DANGEROUS!

Unless they go bancrupt before that.... Oh wait.... this isn't Fisker. Too early for that kind of jokes?
  14. Way too DANGEROUS!

At least the issue seems to be something other are experiencing too. Only thing to mention: In contrast to the OP, I have a SR RWD - So no recall for the HVBJB on my car. Yet it did pretty much what was written in the first post. So I would rule that out of the investigations. Might be more...
  15. Way too DANGEROUS!

I had it once that it decelerated close to a stop, taking the foot from the pedal expecting OPD to do the rest, but the car made a "jump" forward instead. This was while approaching a pedestrian crossing with people approaching it. A bit frightening indeed. I was not able to reproduce this a...
  16. Would you pay $498 for a used A2Z NACS Tesla SC adapter ?

No. Even not if Tesla plug would be a thing in Europe. We can use Tesla chargers for some time already and they hace CCS here too. But I wouldn't buy an adapter even if required. There are enough other chargers all over the place - So I could deal with no Tesla.
  17. 2nd Mach-E/Blue Cruise involved crash

When they say "BlueCruise". Do they talk about the "Hands free" driving? Or just regular adaptive cruise control with lane centering? So far reacting to cars in the same line to me worked pretty flawless when in adaptive cruise control. Even to complete stop and also automatically following...
  18. Found damage after first wash, 2 weeks owner

Mine came with 4 windows scratched (I'd assume the guy removing the protective stickers did that with a tool), the left mirror housing scratched and a small scratch at the rear bumper. That was all replaced without any discussion from the dealer.
