They have 800V architecture, so why aren't they using for the production Mach-E? That is a game-changer for electric vehicles. That is why I'm going to wait on the Kia Image as it will have 800V architecture and Rimac technology. They could have been ahead of everyone if they bought 800V...
Who is going to wait for the Kia Image Concept? It will have a 300-mile range, fully charge the battery in under 20 minutes, and 0-60 under 3 seconds. The crossover will have Rimac technology as Rimac is a partner of Hyundai/Kia. I'm going to wait on this, and I hope it comes in 2021...
I like the car, and it checks a lot of boxes for me, but it bothers me that it does not have a full-size spare tire. It comes with a tire repair kit instead. That is almost a deal-breaker for me.
The auto journalists and car reviewers will get the cars to the review before any customers get a test drive. So if you are on the fence, you can check out the reviews before you commit to anything. I reserved a GT, so I have time, and I'm not in a hurry.
I was thinking the same thing, and I hope it doesn't push the price to $70K. The GT qualifies for the federal credit, so that helps saves some money on the price. We probably won't see the GT options until late this year or early next year.
The attitude the ICE Mustang owners on the forums have shown toward the Mach-E, I would never attend one of those events. You can go if you want, but don't be surprised if your car gets keyed. I hope Ford has the sentry mode as an option for the Mach-E.
